Give Us True Marriage — Boisterous Maryland Crowd Tells Legislators

February 3, 2012

Marriage was established by God, and it cannot be redefined — see the passion among these faithful Christian people in this Jan. 30 crowd in Maryland. The clear-minded pastors firmly tell it like it is.

Everyone is here because of one man and one woman, the chanting crowd says to the legislators. This was a rally like no other!

The event was sponsored by the Maryland Marriage Alliance. Joining in on the gathering was TFP Student Action.

Calls Same-Sex Marriage “Untested Social Experiment”

Stand Up for Marriage Tour Well Received

September 28, 2011

The Illinois Defense of Marriage Tour took the message of traditional marriage to 18 stops in nine cities in August.

Enthusiastic support was the response to a team of Illinois citizens who brought the message to various cities throughout the state last month about the referendum petition to define marriage as “between one man and one woman.” (See video at right.)

The group, which made the tour Aug. 22-26 to 18 stops in nine cities, was joined by ten members of TFP (Tradition, Family, Property)  as well as local people at every stop in supporting traditional marriage.

There was overwhelming support from traffic and pedestrians at all stops. Car horns continued to honk non stop in response to banners and signs from TFP announcing the reason for being on the streets, and in response to the several “Honk if you support one man, one woman traditional marriage” signs. Positive responses outnumbered negative ones at least fifty to one. The largest turnout of local persons, thirty, was in Rockford.

Itinerary of Marriage Defense Team:

Day 1: Chicago Daley Plaza, Thompson Center, Art Institute, and Union Station

Day 2: African American community, 79th St. and Stoney Island Ave. Hispanic Community, 18th St. and Blue Island Ave., South Pulaski and South Archer Ave.

Day 3: Springfield, steps in front of Capitol building, and inside, in the rotunda. Downtown Springfield. Two stops in Peoria.

Day 4: Joliet, Aurora, and Naperville.

Day 5: Rockford, Crystal Lake, and Palatine.
